Özet

Urban transformation is more than just demolishing old buildings in a city and constructing modern ones instead. It is a new and versatile paradigm like sustainable development. It is placed on the axis of industrial, democratic and socio-economic progress. As a result of the urban transformation, the historical fabric, the need for social facilities and the understanding of production and consumption are also changing. As a requirement of sustainability, the ultimate goal of urban transformation is to leave a cleaner and more beautiful environmental and civilized lifestyle to the next generations.
