Özet

II. Makalenin ikinci bölümünde ise Şeref-nâme’nin hâtime bölümünde tezkire-i şuʽarâ ismiyle yer alan şairnâme üzerinde durulacaktır. Toplam 54 şairin yer aldığı şairnâme; edebiyat tarihi ve şair biyografileri bağlamında ayrıntılı olarak değerlendirilecektir. Son bölümde ise şairnâmenin transkripsiyonlu metni verilecektir.
Keşfî, who made his mark in poetry during the mid-reign of Bayezid II, was one of the colourful figures of the literary circles of Istanbul. The poet, whose name is frequently mentioned in the biographical dictionaries of poets of the period for his poems on humour and wit, was originally from Gediz. To date, we know of Keşfî's Te’dib-nâme, his translation of Hüsn ü Dil, Avâmil-i Fürs and his divan, our knowledge of his life and works remains rather sketchy and incomplete. The poet’s previously unknown mesnevi, Şeref-nâme, contains new information regarding Keşfî’s biography and works. This mesnevi is the complete version of the work that was the subject of a master's thesis entitled Te'dib-nâme. The introductory section of the Şeref-nâme is autobiographical in nature, containing information about the poet's life and works. In this section, the poet provides information about his education, professional life, and literary career that cannot be found in any other source. The poetic dictionary in verse (şairnâme) in the conclusion section of the Şeref-nâme is highly valuable in terms of Turkish literary history, as it provides information about poets who lived in the first half of the 16th century. This section, which contains important records about poets whose names are not found in the tezkires, also presents noteworthy details about certain periods in the lives of some well-known poets. In the first section of the first part of this article, Keşfî's biography will be presented, focusing on his education, profession, and life as a poet. The second part of this section will discuss the poet's works. Based on the section describing Keşfî's journey as a poet, information about his works will be provided. The poet’s works, other than those already known, will be presented and evaluated in his own words. The second section of the article will focus on the poetic dictionary in verse (shāʽirnāmah), which appears in the concluding section of the Şeref-nâme under the name tadhkira-i shuara. The poetic dictionary in verse, which includes a total of 54 poets, will be evaluated in detail in the context of literary history and poet biographies.
