11th International Symposium on Intelligent Manufacturing and Service Systems, Sakarya, Türkiye, 27 - 29 Mayıs 2021, ss.410-418, (Tam Metin Bildiri)
The continuous development of technology and various factors have brought a different
dimension to the ongoing disasters throughout history of humanity. Disasters are no longer just
natural-induced, man-made disasters are also happening. The Covid-19 epidemic we are
experiencing nowadays is also an obvious example of this situation. Due to the current importance
of the subject, it is aimed to provide a guide on risk assessment related to disasters and a perspective
in order to determine the strategies for reducing the risks of disasters in this study. For this purpose,
risks related to the Covid-19 epidemic were analyzed with key success factors (Technological,
Social, Legal, Environmental, Economic, Functional, Institutional, Political) in the disaster
management cycle using the Fuzzy FMEA method. When the results of study were analyzed, it is
seen that the Covid-19 epidemic has high risk in terms of all key success factors (Technological,
Social, Legal, Environmental, Economic, Functional, Institutional, Political).
