Özet

This study explores the complexation of caffeic and cinnamic acids with La(III), Sm(III), Th(IV), and U(VI)O2 ions, given the biological and nuclear relevance of f-block elements. Stability constants were determined via pH titration at 25 degrees C, 37 degrees C, and 45 degrees C in KCl medium, using HySS and HYPERQUAD2013 software. Thermodynamic parameters were calculated to assess metal-ligand interactions. Additionally, cytotoxicity of the resulting complexes was evaluated on MCF-7 and A-549 cell lines using the WST assay, highlighting their potential antitumor properties. This work contributes to understanding f-block complexation with phenolic acids.
