It is very important to protect the green environment and the wooded areas that give life to the urban texture. Especially in big cities, green spaces and parks are necessary for people to use and breathe besides the visual beauty. The removal of the existing trees in park areas, construction areas, groves and roadside areas and moving them to another area with various techniques is called the transplantation of trees. Transplantation of trees in urban park areas has become important in recent years. Every tree can be moved from one place to another. There are, however, strict rules and techniques for these transport operations. The result is a living being. During the transportation of the trees, firstly the season of the transportation of the trees should be considered. Although the changes in climatic characteristics in our country, the period of transportation of trees should be carried out between November and February. In addition, the type of trees to be transported, length, chest height diameter, crown size, overall trunk condition, inclination and the cost of the contribution is very important in case of transport is very important. Considering these features of the trees, machine transport, bundling, crushing and so on. Many techniques are carried on the transport of trees. What is important here is what needs to be done before moving the tree, what to consider when moving the tree, and what to do after planting the tree. In this study, the technical features to be followed for transplantation of trees in urban areas will be explained, the studies done will be examined and various suggestions will be made.
