Flow in the shrinking y-pipe is encountered in many problems. With the advancing technology, the blood flow in the bifurcated vessels that we have the opportunity to solve is one of them. Therefore, in this study, the velocity of entry was taken as pulsatile and it was aimed to obtain an idea for the flow of blood through bifurcated vessels. In order to solve this unstable flow, a shrinking y-pipe mesh was first created. In this mesh, the flow was resolved depending on time and the results were compared with other results in the literature. Open source computing platform FEniCS is used for the solution of partial differential equations. In order to investigate how the change in diameter affects the flow, the change of flow was investigated by creating meshes of different diameters. Thus, the critical diameter values were determined. In the light of the results obtained, an idea has been obtained regarding the effects of the change in the diameter of the bifurcated blood vessels on the blood flow in the human body.
