Abstract

Introduction: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is associated with like other insulin resistance syndromes with obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, diabetes and hypertension metformin is known to restrict hepatic gluconeogenesis and reduces glycogenolysis.
