In this study m. palmaris longus in both forearms of 52 conserved human cadavers were examined. It was absent in 5.76 % of cases and in two forearms it exhibited morphological variation. The average tendon length was 12.16 cm (from 9 to 17 cm) and the average tendon breadth was 4.09 mm. Although no direct proportion between tendon length and forearm length was found, the mean proportion was 1/1.93.
