Findings The number of citations about sarcopenia has increased significantly year by year. The most investigated topics about sarcopenia are definition-diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment-recommendation of sarcopenia, respectively. Message This study demonstrates the important issues about sarcopenia in the past and present, and suggests possibilities for the future of this dynamic field.
