All rights reserved.Aim: In this case report a patient admitted with intussusception and incidentally diagnosed with a unilateral adrenal mass is presented and the literature is reviewed for non-traumatic adrenal masses. Case Report: A patient admitted to our clinic with colicky abdominal pain and vomiting and diagnosed as intussusception. Calcified areas were detected on imaging studies incidentally. A calcifed lesion was found in the left adrenal gland on imaging studies. After pediatric oncology consultation surgical excision was decided. Pathology results were reported as the dystrophic calcification as a result of spontaneously regressed necrotic neuroblastoma. The patient is well on the first year of follow-up. Conclusion: Etiologies of asymptomatic adrenal masses are variable. Incidentally discovered calcified adrenal masses in the pediatric age group must be surgically removed.
