BET, FTIR, and SEM techniques were used to determine the morphology and the functional groups of SM before and after dye adsorption. Furthermore, we calculated different adsorption kinetics, isotherms, and error models (SSE, HYBRID, and ARE) parameters to evaluate the optimum experimental conditions such as the initial dye concentration of BB41 (6.25-50 mg L-1), SM dose (0.05-0.2 g), pH (3-10), and sonication time (400-3600 s). The value of uptake (%) of SM for BB41 was 94% at 50 mg L-1,25oC at 3600 s. Following this, we found that the pseudo second-order (Type2) model of BB41 was the best fitted model with highest R2 (0.973-0.999) values. We developed a simple, low-cost, and fast to remove BM41 from water using natural and efficient SM adsorbent, which exhibited superior adsorption performance in wastewater treatment under ultrasonic irradiation.
