ObjectiveWe aimed to compare community-onset healthcare-associated (CO-HCA) and hospital-acquired (HA) urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Escherichia coli in terms of epidemiology, clinical outcomes and antimicrobial activities.
