© 2015 IEEE.Each step in the sterilization process affects the sterilization quality. The shelf life of the sterilized material is directly related with this process. In this paper, a literature study investigating the non-conformities that affect the shelf life of the sterilization unit was presented. Specifically, non-conformities of the consumables used in the sterilization process were examined, corrective and preventive activities were planned.
