Kawasaki disease is one of the common vasculitic diseases of childhood. The disease manifests itself with fever. If not diagnosed in time or if delayed in diagnosis, it results in serious complications. Intravenous immunoglobulin and acetylsalicylic acid are used in the disease's treatment. In this article Kawasaki disease's diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment are discussed, assisted by up to-date information on the subject.
