EPOS Seismology and Geo-INQUIRE Workshop 2025, Athens, Yunanistan, 24 Kasım - 27 Aralık 2025, ss.1, (Tam Metin Bildiri)
This
study explores the distribution of potential
structures in the southeastern Aegean Region, a
seismically active and complex part of the Eastern
Mediterranean Gravity data from the TOPEX v 29 1
database were analyzed using the Fast Sigmoid (
and Tilt Angle of the Horizontal Gradient (
methods to identify possible structural boundaries
Additionally, earthquake and focal mechanism catalogs
from various sources were used to interpret these
structural edges A total of 69 structural boundaries
were identified, some likely representing faults related
to known fault systems The findings offer new insights
into the region’s tectonic setting, highlighting the
continuity of existing faults and the discovery of new
potential faults, thereby enhancing understanding of
the area's seismotectonics features
