AI-driven
smart technologies and applications have the potential to transform the
healthcare sector and serve as a crucial tool in advancing the third goal of
the Sustainable Development Goals, "Good Health and Well-being." This
study provides a comprehensive analysis of various AI-driven technologies that
facilitate broader access to healthcare services, enable the development of
personalized treatment approaches, enhance early disease detection, promote
more efficient and sustainable healthcare delivery, and contribute to the
reduction of health disparities. Specifically,
the study explores the integration of key technological areas including telemedicine,
the Internet of Things (IoT), digital twins, bioinformatics, and machine
learning, highlighting their individual and collective impacts on health
outcomes and healthcare systems. The
study further identifies and critically discusses technological, regulatory,
and ethical barriers that may hinder the effective adoption of these advanced
solutions.
