Anatomy for Urologic Surgeons in the Digital Era Scanning, Modelling and 3D Printing, Emre Huri,Domenico Veneziano, Editör, Springer Nature, Zürich, ss.153-168, 2021
Digital technologies are developing rapidly today and while new technologies are
emerging, they are also called disruptive technologies because they destroyed the
previous technologies. Visual technologies, which are a part of these, keep up with
this speed. These are Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed
Reality (MR). One of the reasons for the emergence of visual technologies was that
when transferring the content, the technologies at that time were insuffcient. After
the development of Virtual Reality technology, the formats of the contents also
evolved to this. Among these, 3D Models and Animations are at the forefront.
The use of these technologies in the feld of health extends from education level
to clinical practice. There are academic studies on the use of these technologies in
medical education [1]. This section includes the importance of immersive technologies. There are many changes and developments from virtual reality devices to produced content. Thus, the interconnectedness of Virtual Reality and Animation
concepts is a feld that can be examined.
