Özet

Nowadays, carbon footprint calculations are very important, which are the measurement of the amount of greenhouse gas released by the human activities on the world in terms of CO2.

Studies are carried out to show that road pavement, especially on highways, have an effect on the fuel consumption of vehicles and heavy vehicles.

There are studies on carbon emissions in forestry operations. It has been mentioned in these studies that road construction works have an impact on carbon emissions. It has been stated that road pavement on highways have a significant effect on carbon emissions both in construction and use.
