US and CT guided percutaneous biopsies with biopsy gun

Özet

A total of 98 US and CT guided percutaneous biopsy results using Biopty-Gun and tru-cut needle are presented and the advantages and disadvantages of the device are questioned. In 94% of biopsies, adequate tissue samples were obtained. Two major complications were seen. We concluded that the use of this system is quite simple and safe, and yields a high percentage of adequate tissue sample.
