Abstract
Turkish is one of the Less Commonly Taught Languages in the US. Furthermore, teaching Turkish via Videoconferencing is a far less common application, compared to courses in other languages. The situation is similar for the other Less Commonly Taught Languages. Having this in mind, I would like to present one case of teaching Turkish via Videoconferencing during the fall semester of 2004/2005 in Syracuse University, NY. The presentation includes many aspects of videoconferencing, from environment to materials, from technical equipment to classroom interaction, which are interconnected with this case study.
