15th World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, Praha, Çek Cumhuriyeti, 23 - 26 Mart 2026, (Özet Bildiri)
Probiotics are generally used to recover the microbiota balance and prevent dysbiosis. Microbial species commonly used as probiotics include the genera bifidobacterium and lactobacillus. For the probiotic to be effective in the body, a probiotic product should have a minimum concentration of 106–107 CFU/g (1). In this study, the activation and lyophilization processes of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus ATA strain were performed, followed by viability analysis, particle size and zeta potential determination, and SEM imaging. The results of the 30-day stability study were also included. The bacteria have been activated and lyophilized to preserve their viability and ensure encapsulation. The changes observed were evaluated through characterization studies conducted before and after the lyophilization of the probiotic bacteria.
