Özet

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the study area with the principals of engineering geology by using field measurement, observation and tests with laboratory data realized in soil and rock environment of the tunnel route in Mecidiyekoy and Mahmutbey Metro Project between Yenimahalle-Karadeniz Stations line. The tunnel route has double line, 3122 m length and the soil thickness from 15 m to 22 m. Superstructure deformations were investigated on this route. In order to determine engineering properties of the analyzed tunnel line, 12 investigation boring which have depht from 30 m to 38 m are drilled. By using the investigation boring results, the SPT tests, pressiometer performed to the diffrent depth of boring and hydraulic water pressure tests, RQD values calculated for the length of boring maneuver and laboratory test were performed. In the study the results of the test were used. Throughout the project, 2 EPB-TBM machines started drilling from Yenimahalle Station and finished the tunnel boring in Karadeniz Station. In order to monitor the tunnel induced deformations a series of monitoring systems had been set up the surface. These systems were monitored according to planned frequency, however if any anomaly was observed on measurements in monitoring points, measuring frequency were re-arranged in these points accordingly. According to the results of the measurements of building and surface monitoring points that are placed especially densely because of shallow depth, deformation and settlement values observed over the limit (value) that deformation and settlement values observed over the limit (value) that predicted on the project. Because of the high deformation values which are occurred some regions, the risky buildings are demolished and the grouting is performed to these places. As grouting method returns good results in performed region, the tunnel excavation continued with existing method (TBM). In conclusion, inner tunnel or surface deformations which are occurred during damage of the surface buildings and understood to take an additional precaution to the excavation and supporting project which was foreseen at the beginning.
