ABSTRACT
In anesthesiology, the administration of fast-acting drugs, the use of complex anesthesia devices, and performance of clinical procedures are common; moreover, it is necessary to implement all these at the same time and within the safety limits. To adapt to these complex and dynamic work conditions, it is essential to provide training that will facilitate decision-making, especially in critical situations. Simulation techniques, which are carried out in safe and controlled environments and offer standard training opportunities, are widely accepted in anesthesiology resident training. The purpose of this review is to summarize the use of simulation methods in the anesthesiology and reanimation specialty training.
