The following case report describes a patient with permanent junctional reciprocating tachycardia which is a rare form of neonatal supraventricular tachycardia associated with tachycardia-induce cardiomyopathy. Forty-two day-old female child had been presented with tachycardia and irritability. Electrocardiogram depicted narrow QRS tachycardia and inverted P waves in leads DII, DIII, aVF. Echocardiography revealed left ventricular systolic dysfunction. After medical treatment the cardiac functions of the patient returned to normal. We wanted to emphasize that permanent junctional resiprocating tachycardia is one of the few treatable causes of cardiomyopathy in children.
