A case of fetal abdominal mass suspected to be an ovarian cyst by routine ultrasound examination at 35 wks of gestation is presented. Cesarean section was performed at 37 wks of gestation. In the early neonatal period diagnostic laparotomy has been carried out for the cystic mass which was found to be a parovarian cyst. This was the first case of fetal parovarian cyst suspected antenatally and verified in the neonatal period.
