Özet

The performance of handheld GPS receivers in forest inventory was studied. Coordinate measurements were performed in stands of different tree species, volume and basal area and then the real coordinates of these groups were compared with the real coordinates. No significant effect of the species of trees, different volumes and basal area groups on the accuracy level of the position was found.
