Various abscess formations can develop between the pelvic organs and perineal surfaces by different mechanisms. Anorectal abscesses are one of the most common causes of these disorders. Although it appears clinically as a local inflammation, it can progress with complications, particularly when there are other underlying pathologies. In most cases, treatment is drainage and antibiotherapy. However, anatomical and terminological classification of clinical presentations is of utmost importance for treatment and follow-up of complications. In this article, we present a case of an anorectal abscess which filled the periurethral, perivaginal, and perirectal spacesandspreadtothegluteoperinealareaandspontaneously drained into the vaginal lumen in an adolescent case who presented with the clinic of acute abdomen and sepsis.
