Özet

Human survival is directly tied to our relationship with the natural environment. During the last century, research has been increasingly drawn toward understanding the human-nature relationship and has revealed the many ways humans are linked with the natural environment. Natural outdoor areas and natural features such as forests, parks, trees, and gardens provide opportunities to enhance public health and wellbeing. Today, forest bathing is considered as a form of eco wellness tourism and a popular health promotion approach by being one of the ecotherapy activities by including seven eco wellness factors (Physical Access, Sensory Access, Connection, Protection, Preservation, Spirituality, and Community Connectedness). In this study’s scope, a representative online survey was done with ‘Certified Forest Bathing Guides and Practitioners’ from different countries to reveal the guided forest therapy tours’ framework.
