The concept of sustainability has become one of the basic requirements for the development of any sector, so all the attention now is on the sustainability of health, education, industries, cities and tourism.
Therefore, some sectors, such as ecotourism, have focused on transforming their paths towards sustainability, encouraging visiting natural sites, national parks, and open public green spaces in cities and rural areas. This paper aimed to focus on the positives of ecotourism on landscapes, parks and green spaces within cities and their effects on the development of these places through some of the previous studies, background studies, and literature reviews and mentioned some of the best ecotourism destinations in several different countries to do more in-depth studies in the future in this field. The desired result of this paper is to investigate what tourism offers in terms of encouragement to institutions and municipalities to develop landscapes, gardens and green spaces within their cities to make the attraction points for the tourism sector. At the same time, it encourages the sustainability of towns and increases recreation areas for residents and visitors
