Güç doğum, maternal veya fetal nedenlere bağlı olarak normal doğum süresindeki herhangi bir gecikme veya dışarıdan müdahaleye ihtiyaç duyulmasıyla ortaya çıkan obstetrik bir problemdir. Buzağı kayıplarının en yaygın sebebi güç doğum olgusudur. Anne ve fetüsün canlı ve sağlıklı alabilmek için zamanında müdahale edilmesi gerekmektedir. Güç doğumun sebebine bağlı olarak medikal, ekstraksiyon forse, fetotomi, sezaryen gibi müdahaleler uygulanmaktadır. Bu derleme; güç doğumun sınıflandırılmasıyla birlikte yapılabilecek medikal uygulamalarla ilgili bilgi vermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Distocia is a reproductive problem that occurs due to any delay in the normal delivery period due to maternal or fetal causes or the need for external intervention. The most common cause of calf loss is the distocia phenomenon. Timely intervention is required in order to get the dam and fetus alive and healthy. Depending on the cause of the distocia, treatments such as medical, extraction force, fetotomy and cesarean section exc. are applied. This review aims to provide information about the medical applications that can be done together with the classification of difficult birth.
