Özet

In this study, the flow in the narrowing y-pipe is investigated. The fluid input velocity was taken as pulsatile, as the shrinking y-pipe sample is frequently seen in veins in the human body. Thus, the behavior of the blood flow
became observable. Flow is time dependent, as it is a time-dependent inflow rate. A mesh was created for the shrinking y-pipe, then the problem of unstable flow on this mesh was solved by using FEniCS. The results obtained were compared with other studies. By changing the bifurcation angle, the effect of this angle change on the flow was analyzed. In this way, it was examined how the flow in bifurcated vessels in the human body may differ according to the bifurcation angle.
