The generalization of factors associated with successful aging among older adults remains a controversial issue in the literature. This study aims to examine the factors associated with successful aging among Turkish older adults within the framework of an inter-factorial analysis model. This study employed a quantitative, cross-sectional design and was conducted through face-to-face interviews. The sample consisted of 1.755 older adults aged 60 and above residing in the province of Burdur, T & uuml;rkiye (M = 71.34, SD = 6.16). In this study, the Personal Information Form, the Successful Aging Scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and the Engagement in Meaningful Activity Scale were used. The data were analyzed using the moderated mediation method with the Process Macro. According to the findings, perceived family social support was found to have a positive direct relationship with engagement in meaningful activities. Additionally, engagement in meaningful activities had a positive direct relationship with successful aging. Also, engagement in meaningful activities was found to fully mediate the relationship between perceived family social support and successful aging. However, it was seen that the positive relationship between engagement in meaningful activities on successful aging was reversed in the high socioeconomic status group, while it was strengthened in the low socioeconomic status group. In this context, strengthening family-based social support mechanisms, enhancing access to activities perceived as meaningful by older adults, and adapting these activities through socioeconomically sensitive designs are of critical importance for promoting successful aging among older adults across both low and high socioeconomic strata.
