Özet

The complexes of 1,2-bis-[2-(5-H/methyl/chloro/nitro)-1H-benzimidazolyl]-1,2-ethanediols (L1-L4) with HgCl2 were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, IR, H-1- and C-13 NMR spectra. M:L ratio is 1:1 in the complexes. The ligands coordinate to Hg(II) ion through the two hydroxyl oxygen atoms, as showing bidentate characteristics.
