Özet
This paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis between Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) systems and Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic (GMPV) systems, focusing on performance, environmental, and economic dimensions. Each subsection includes literature insights, recent innovations, and case study discussions. Recent studies have shown significant differences between FPV and GMPV systems in terms of efficiency, cooling effects, and land use. FPV systems offer natural water-based cooling that enhances energy yield, while ground-mounted systems benefit from easier installation and maintenance. However, site constraints, mooring design, and water body characteristics play crucial roles in FPV performance. From an environmental standpoint, FPV reduces land competition and mitigates water evaporation, yet may affect aquatic ecosystems if poorly designed. Economically, the cost of floats, anchoring, and maintenance can influence overall Leveled Cost of Energy (LCOE), but in many cases, FPV installations show competitive or superior returns compared to traditional systems.
