Özet

Cancer, which is a worldwide health problem is being investigated for its effect on liver and other organs. Metformin is a drug of choice for the treatment of type II diabetes and also for treatment of cancer. In our study, the protective effect of metformin on liver tissue of prostate cancer rats was investigated.
