Özet

Abdominal cocoon is a relatively rare cause of intestinal obstruction. We report the oldest patient in the literature which is diagnosed as abdominal cocoon with typical computed tomography (CT) and intraoperative findings. CT showed conglomerated intestinal loops showing mild dilatation at the center of the abdomen which is encased with a membrane represented by a thickened peritoneum. © 2009 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
