This study presents a robust tool developed for the design of broadband microwave amplifiers based on the Simplified Real Frequency Technique. The tool incorporates the capability to use customized objective functions and enables simultaneous optimization of the input and output matching networks. This allows to select specific optimization criteria and achieve precise matching requirements. By integrating the SRFT method with customized objective functions, the tool facilitates the design of high-performance amplifiers across a wide frequency range. Focusing on sub-6 GHz applications of 5G and beyond communication systems, a demonstration of a broadband microwave amplifier design is presented. In the provided design example, a minimum 11.65dB gain and input/output reflections below -9.5dB are achieved over the 2.8GHz-5.2GHz bandwidth.
