The aim of this study is to evaluate the EAFD with no prior treatment, as a secondary raw material source. The method applied within this study involves the atmospheric and pressure leaching of the EAFD with sulphuric acid. Pressure leaching experiments were performed using direct EAFD and atmosphere teach residues.. The behavior of major metals in The EAFD, such as line, iron and lead is investigated by the atmospheric leaching experiments conducted at 25-75°C and at various acid/dust ratios (0-375-1.2). On the other hand the parameters investigated in pressure teaching experiments were The amount of sulphuric acid (0.25-1.0M). temperature (125-185°C) and solid/liquid ratio (1/5-1/10). In this study, parameters were determined that The transfer of zinc into The solution while iron ought to remain as a solid residue.
