Özet

This paper investigates the leakage rate (LR) performance of an untrusted reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) in the presence of non-orthogonal co-channel interference (CCI), which arises from nearby randomly deployed non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) transmissions. In addition, to mitigate the information leakage, a limited number of friendly jammers are randomly deployed to interfere with the untrusted RIS. The analysis considers active, passive, and absorptive operating modes of the RIS. Outage probability is employed for the LR analysis, and both analytical and asymptotic expressions are validated through Monte Carlo simulations. The results demonstrate that while non-orthogonal CCI and friendly jammers slightly degrade system performance, this degradation is effectively mitigated by increasing the number of reflecting elements. Moreover, as the RIS becomes larger, the adverse impact of non-orthogonal CCI is significantly reduced.
