Özet

The textile industry is one of the leading sectors in Turkey in terms of economic development. This industry has a variable structure concerning water consumption, raw materials and chemicals used during manufacturing and technologies applied. The dynamic profile of the sector affects the wastewater characterization leading to non-standardized wastewater treatment technologies.
