Özet

We describe a 6-year-old female patient who presented with hematemesis. There were pin-pointed, non-pulsatile, multiple telangiectases on her right auricle, back of the right ear, neck and gluteal region. In family screening, similar mucosal telangiectases were examined on her grandfather's lip and auricle. Selective celiac-hepatic-mesenteric arteriography revealed a focal telangiectatic area on lateral segment of the left lobe of the liver; there were no pathological findings in abdominal, pulmonary, cerebral angiographies. In echocardiography, there was a solid mass located on interatrial septum defined as cardiac fibroma. Left ventricular width was increased without any hemodynamic deterioration. Osler-Weber-Rendu (OWR) disease was diagnosed. She was treated with epsilon aminocaproic acid and had no further bleeding recurrences.
