Biography
Turhan Bilir is a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering,İstanbul University Cerrahpaşa, İstanbul, Turkey. He has worked as an Assistant Professor and after than as an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Bülent Ecevit University, Zonguldak, Turkey, İstanbul Üniversitesi, İstanbul, Turkey and İstanbul Üniversitesi-Cerrahpaşa, İstanbul, Turkey. He received his B.Sc. degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, M.Sc. degree from Zonguldak Karaelmas University and his Ph.D. degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Turkey. His research interests include concrete durability, utilizations of wastes and by-products in concrete industry, composite models, and restraint drying shrinkage of concrete.
