Advanced Animal Reproductive Technologies Research Group

Advanced Animal Reproductive Technologies Research Group is a research group that adopts the principle of working together from different disciplines such as reproduction, molecular biology, genetics and bioengineering.

The researchers of the AART Research Group carried out many important scientific achievements for our country at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Istanbul University, and with their studies in the field of reproductive biotechnology, they took the lead for the initiation and/or expansion of important scientific developments in the field of animal assisted reproductive techniques.

The AART research group carries out scientific and clinical studies in different animal species such as laboratory, pet, poultry and livestock animals. Cell culture studies, in vivo and in vitro embryo production and transfer, advanced assisted reproductive techniques (IVF, ICSI, ROSI, etc.), cryopreservation studies (somatic cells, gamete cells, embryo, tissue, etc.), SCNT, transgenesis, animal model production, obtaining extracellular vesicles and their use in reproduction area are the main research subjects.

Our group is open to national and international partnerships with different research groups, universities, institutes and biotechnology companies for joint research projects and industrial product development studies. You can contact us on our research group page on University web portal.
