Meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin meslek beceri düzeylerini arttırma yollarından birisi de öğrenim gördükleri alanla ilgili proje yapmalarını sağlamaktır. Bu sayede öncelikle, öğrencilerin mesleki yeterlik düzeylerinin ortaya çıkarılması sağlanabilir. Bununla birlikte yaşanacak muhtemel bir sorunun çözüm yollarının keşfedilmesi ve mesleki becerilerinin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin sınıf arkadaşlarıyla birlikte yapmakta oldukları proje süreçlerinin takip edilmesi gerekebilmektedir. Ayrıca proje süreçlerinin hangi aşamalarının gerçekleştiğine dair bulguların elde edilmesi ihtiyacı da ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu tür sorunları ortadan kaldırmak amacıyla öğrencilerin proje süreçlerindeki faaliyetlerini video yoluyla değerlendirici kişilere belli zaman dilimlerinde göstermesi bu ihtiyacı giderebilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin proje süreçlerinde çektikleri video uygulamalarına yönelik görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Bu sayede bu uygulamanın öğrencilerdeki izlenimleri ortaya çıkarılabilecektir. Çalışma nitel tekniklerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda 2016-2017, 2017-2018 ve 2018-2019 yıllarındaki videolar ve bu dönemlerdeki videoları çeken sekiz katılımcı görüşleri çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Katılımcılarla yapılan yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuş ve açık kodlama yöntemiyle kodlara ve temalara karar verilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulguları arasında, incelenen 182 video linki arasından 36’sının yapılan kontroller sonrasında, kullanıcılar tarafından silindiği belirlenmiştir. Videoların çoğunluğu halen herkes tarafından izlenebiliyor durumdadır. Proje süreçlerinde video çekilmesi ile proje takibinin, denetlenmesinin ve değerlendirilmesinin yapılabildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sayede öğrencilerin de bireysel değerlendirmelerinin sağlanabildiği belirlenmiştir. Video çekimi ile öğrencilerin motivasyonlarının arttığı ifade edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin de benzer şekilde bu sonuçların farkında olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Buna karşın büyükşehirde öğrencilerin bir araya gelmesi ve tüm proje üyelerinin eşit düzeyde katkı sağladığı gibi olumsuzluklar da ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmanın önerileri arasında, bu tür öğrenci performansının izleneceği yolların tercih edilmesi önerilmektedir.
One of the ways to increase the vocational skill levels of vocational school students is to enable them to make projects related to the field they learning. In this way, the professional competence level of students can be revealed. However, it is aimed to discover the solutions of a possible problem and to develop professional skills. In this context, it may be necessary to follow the students’ project processes. In addition, there is a need to obtain evidence of the stages of the project processes. In order to eliminate such problems, it is possible for the students to show their activities in the project processes via video to the evaluators in certain time periods. The aim of this study is to evaluate the opinions of vocational school students about the video applications they took during the project processes. In this way, the impression of this practice in students will be revealed. The study was carried out with qualitative techniques. In this context, videos from 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years and eight participant views were included in the study. Data were collected by semi-structured interview form with participants. The data were subjected to content analysis and codes and themes were decided by open coding method. Among the findings of the study, it was determined that 36 of 182 video links were deleted by users after the controls. Most of the videos are still viewable by everyone. It is concluded that project monitoring, checking and evaluation can be done by taking video in project processes. In this way, it was determined that students' individual evaluations could be provided. It has been stated that the students' motivations increased with video processes. On the other hand, negativities such as the fact that the students could not come together in the metropolitan area and all the members of the project did not contribute equally. Among the recommendations of the study, it is recommended that the ways which increase student vocational performance should be preferred.
