Pedagogical Formation Science Teacher Candidates and Science Teacher Candidates' Opinions on Distance Education in The Covid-19 Pandemic Process

Özet

Nowadays, with the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic process, distance education has become one of the most important issues of current education issues. For this reason, it is important to determine the opinions of teacher candidates who will teach future generations on distance education. In this context, this study aims to examine the pedagogical formation and undergraduate science teacher candidates' opinions on distance education. Survey model was used in the study. The study was conducted with 166 science teacher candidates. “Personal Information Form” and “Student opinion scale about distance education” were used as data collection tools. In the study it was found that teacher candidates have positive opinions on distance education; male teacher candidates have a higher level of positive opinion than female teacher candidates and the pedagogical formation teacher candidates have a higher level of positive opinion on distance education compared to the undergraduate teacher candidates.
