Assoc. Prof. HİLAL UYSAL

Biography

I was born in 1971 in Gölcük, Turkey. I graduated from the Istanbul University Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, Istanbul, Turkey (1989-1993). After I graduated, I worked at the International Hospital Coronary Intensive Care Unit for ten years. I finished my postgraduate-master’s science (Evaluation of Nurses About Oriented Towards; Theoretical and Application Knowledges) in 2004 and postgraduate-PhD (The effect of individual education and consultation on the functional status and quality of life in patients suffering from myocardial infarction for the first time.) in 2009. I am still working at the Istanbul University Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Medical Nursing Department, Istanbul, Turkey as Assistant Professor. I am primarily interested about the cardiovascular nursing, coronary intensive care nursing, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, educational counselling of cardiovascular patients, firstaid, cardic arrest, cardiopulmonary ressusitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). I am an active member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology Cardiovascular Nursing and Technicians Working Group, Istanbul, Turkey. I am Assistant Editor of Turkish Society of Cardiology Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing since in 2010. In addition, I am Turkish Society of Cardiology Board Sub-Unit of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Sports Cardiology Sub-Committe. However, I have the certificate to work in the European Union projects, within the framework of Horizon 2020. 

I have ESC committee memberships: “Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions“;“European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR)“;“European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI)“;“ Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (ACCA)“.

During my academic life, I have a lot of original researchs, publications, articles, boks, compilations, Project, personally attended and worked on courses and certificates in the cardiovascular nursing field. 

She is still working as a lecturer at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Department of Internal Medicine Nursing.
