Özet:
This study investigated the impact of CLIL and Techno-CLIL lesson implementations on 6th grade students' L2 reading, and vocabulary development. It also aimed to analyze the perceptions of the students and the teachers toward CLIL and Techno-CLIL models. Two 6th grade intact classes were selected as control and experimental groups (N=37). The control group was exposed to traditional content and language integrated instruction while the experimental group received technology and content integrated language instruction. Quantitative data instruments included pre, post and delayed L2 reading proficiency test and Vocabulary Knowledge Scale, and the results showed a remarkable difference between pre and post-tests in both groups. Qualitative data instruments included teacher journals, student interviews, and stimulated recall and the results indicated that both teachers and students have developed positive attitudes towards Techno-CLIL and CLIL approaches in classrooms.
