"Wood: Natural and Renewable Engineering Material" has been published by Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa within the scope of the "100 Books for the 100th Year of the Republic" project in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of our Republic.

This book aims to provide a broad perspective, starting from the anatomical, physical, and mechanical properties of wood to its drying, processing, preservation, gluing, transformation into new products, various applications in engineering, and its sustainability potential. By providing information on the technical details, innovative applications, and future projections of wood, it aims to examine its role and potential in engineering in depth.

It will be a valuable resource for forest industrial engineers, academic and industrial researchers, material scientists, civil engineers, architects, designers, and anyone interested in wood.
