TÜBA Young Academy Member and Founder of Biomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Group | BioNanoTeam Zeki Candan's article titled "The effect of different enzymatic pretreatment processes on the production of nanocellulose from wheat straw" has been published in the Journal of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of Gazi University.

In this study, an experimental investigation of the effect of enzymatic pretreatment on bleached soda-NaBH4 pulp fibers was carried out. CNF was produced from wheat straw by enzymatic hydrolysis and homogenization, and the changes in chemical, morphological, thermal, and rheological properties of CNF were investigated.
