We are pleased to share our new article published in the Maderas. Ciencia y Tecnologia Journal. The aim of the study was to improve the performance characteristics of plywood panels as engineered wood composites. The plywood panels were produced with melamine-urea formaldehyde resin reinforced with cellulose nanofibrils and borax. The study can contribute to the development of environmentally friendly composites with improved physical and mechanical properties, renewable chemicals and sustainable products.
We would like to thank the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), Turanlar Group, Vezirköprü Orman Ürünleri ve Kağıt Sanayi A.Ş., and Starwood Orman Ürünleri A.Ş. for their valuable support in this study.
